Hello Tourist!

This is our first blog entry so it is more personal than useful. We are delighted about the launch of Lottirose. It is one of our new family members. We have been waiting for a long time for this to happen. We have been preparing for it, cherishing it and making it better and better until we got to the point of sharing it with you. We think it turned out awsome.
Why?
Because we love to travel. It is one of our hobbies. If we can afford it, we go and travel the world. It has been a vital need especially for me (Fruxi) ever since I was a child. Before we became a family I had the luck of trying out the world of couchsurfing so this way I could experience a really special way of exploring the world. I was welcoming travelers from all corners of the world and I traveled this way as well. I could try other countries’ culture, I could get a glimpse of real life through the eyes of locals. We went to a pub or partied together, we watched films together with a Catalan in Barcelona on her couch or we made blueberry pancakes in New York. I could meet their friends and I could see the places that only locals see. These were very life changing experiences.
When we became a family with two kids we changed a lot but our foundations have stayed the same. We are extroverted, friendly and we love to live and love people and sizzling. We have fit the kids into our lifestyle and we haven’t turned our world upside down for them (of course with their health and safety in mind) and we carried on with our lives. We didn’t give up on everything that was importan to us because we believe it is not sustainable in the longrun concerning our relationship, our family and our indivudual personalities. So we started to do sports with the kids, we started jogging with strollers and we bought earmuffs so that we could still go to concerts and we carried on with traveling. Traveling with and without children have been the most differing experience. We felt it was circumstantial, hard and very exhausting. So we traveled less. We were tired in advance just by writing long lists, packing stuff and even after packing the whole house, we always left something at home. THIS IS WHY Lottirose was born. We took the most ’troubling’ factor of traveling and replaced it with a service. So all what’s left for the family are fun, laughter, new experiences, and getting to know other cultures and destinations. We don’t only rent out equipment that you don’t have to carry but as locals we give advice, tips, programs and we provide you with routes to follow so your holiday can be enjoyable and relaxing, but also filled with experiences as a family. This is how traveling with your family can become complete. You can set out with an ease. We get kids interested in discovering the city and we also tell you where parents can sit down and enjoy a delicious coffe while their children are playing in the kids corner.
