Three things to keep your kids safe while traveling

Traveling with small kids can be a great adventure, but at some point every child will leave his comfort zone. Traveling can bring unexpected situations and let’s admit even, we adults become uncertain when there is crowd on the beach, a hysterical atmosphere at the airport, or despite all our efforts, we have to rush during transfer. We’ve collected three things so you can keep your kid safe and feel more comfortable while traveling!

Phone number bracelet
You never plan to lose sight of your kid while traveling or shopping, but unfortunately, it happens. We all know the pretty fast and creative preschool kid who sees something interesting at the airport and wants to discover it on his own. In this case, it is very important that even the smaller ones who cannot even tell their parents’ name can be found as soon as possible. A phone number bracelet is a quick solution if the child runs away from us at a busy beach, during a public event or at the airport. Let’s do everything to solve this extremely scary situation as fast as possible!

Snuza baby monitor
Many parents feel better checking their baby’s breathing, this can be especially important in case of premature babies. Whether it is a car ride or a sightseeing trip we can control our baby’s breathing since we can carry a tiny device, a portable baby monitor anywhere with us. Snuza HeroMD baby monitor is a wearable device which attaches to your baby’s diaper and monitors your baby’s breathing. The HeroMD detects the slightest of breaths and will alert you if breathing is weak or less than eight breaths per minute. If the Snuza HeroMD detects no breathing for 15 seconds it will vibrate in an effort to rouse your baby to resume breathing. Often the vibration is enough to rouse the infant and HeroMD will revert to monitoring mode.

Safety backpack
Sometimes a leash would be good for your child? It seems like a bad idea if your kid is a peaceful newborn but as soon as he turns into a three-year old troublemaker who doesn’t want to hold his mother’s hands, a backpack with a detachable tether can be life-saving. Our favorites are SkipHop’s nice backpacks!

RideSafer Seat Belt

RideSafer is a safe alternative to traditional car seats. The padded vest manages crash forces and spreads them evenly by placing the center of gravity back. The profile of the seatbelt keeps the child safely and comfortably with its 5-point-harness system. Because of its small size, it can fit in a backpack or a suitcase. It is easy to install in any car, there is no need to worry about right installation. The system was made for kids aged 3 and up. Using with a booster seat, it makes a safe car seat in any car. The RideSafer seat belt can be easily fitted to any car type.
